IDEAL LAPTOP FOR A NEWBIE TECHIE ?
Don't get confused by the title of the blog , by no means i am disrespecting someone , but lets be honest everyone is a newbie in the beginning. And for the starters lets take the approx budget as 60K.
Without much intro, lets get started .....
(We will not mention brands here so do a bit of research yourself )
Maybe you are in class 12 and have interest in coding and tech related stuff or maybe you have opt for B.tech in computer science or in information technology or maybe you just need a laptop anyway which can do the job,
then hold on.
We will discuss about the ideal specs a laptop should have if you fall in those above mentioned categories and your budget is close to 50 -60 K.
Firstly coding is not that CPU intensive so pretty much every thing will do, but since you are in your teens we need to take care of your basic gaming and video streaming needs, so the best bet is gonna be a Quad core CPU clocked at a minimum of 1.6 GHz.
Since we already mentioned gaming and stuff we need a GPU , well we are concerned with budget here so a 2 GB graphics card is a must, and if you can then 4 GB will be a huge plus. Keep in mind clockspeeds matter a lot in Graphics card as well so check out for a 1200 MHz card, and make sure it is of GDDR5.
CPU and GPU done, now we will shift to RAM well nothing much to mention here 8 GB at least and 16 will be quite stellar.
Well don't forget to check whether it is
DDR3 or DDR4 , the difference between the two is a lot .
Now, one of the most major factors which is must now a days yet it is being ignored that is the addition of a SSD along with your normal HDD, even 128 GB SSD can boost your laptops performance a lot.
Your games and software's will start in a matter of seconds, and if you keep your OS in it , then Boot timings will be unimaginable.
Last and obviously not the least a 1 TB HDD is all that you need to complement your laptop.
